Amberlee:
Fate in the Desert
Album Design & Packaging
A cohesive visual system designed to support the tone of the music, creating an intimate, grounded, and recognizable identity across physical and digital formats.
Overview
Project: Fate in the Desert (Self-Directed)
Role: Visual Design & Packaging
Platform: Print & Digital
Focus: Cohesion, tone, and visual storytelling
I designed the album artwork and packaging to reflect the tone of the music, grounded, reflective, and intimate. The goal was to create a cohesive visual system that could extend across formats while staying subtle enough to support the music rather than compete with it.
Problem: Music releases often lack a cohesive visual system, leading to disconnected artwork across cover, packaging, and promotional materials.
Solution: A unified visual approach that uses consistent imagery, typography, and tone to create a recognizable and cohesive identity across all touchpoints.

Album Design & Packaging
The visual system draws from desert textures, minimal line work, and vintage Americana influences. Each element—from the cover to the disc and interior layout—was designed to feel connected, creating a seamless experience across the physical album.

Reflection
The final design balances visual identity with restraint, allowing the artwork to support the music without distracting from it while still creating a recognizable and cohesive presence.
